| By signing up for our model program, you become an integral part of our formalized training process and help ensure the success of our newest team members. All new stylists at Tyler Mason commit to a 6-8 month training program that includes weekly classes, business culture, assisting, and mentoring under our senior staff. Working with models is the last and most exciting part of training with Tyler Mason and gives our newest staff the opportunity to put their skills and knowledge to work. Before accepting models, our new stylists have obtained their board certification, as well as, demonstrated the required in-salon practicum. While these appointments offer all of the wonderful elements as a regular visit to Tyler Mason we do ask that you come with an open mind. These appointments are learning opportunities for our new staff and often involve the coaching of a senior stylist and may take more time than a visit with one of our more seasoned staff members. As the model you may even be asked for your feedback in the form of conversation or a brief questionnaire, we value your opinion as it helps us to be better. As always, we ask that you keep all booked appointments and if you need to cancel to please give us 48 hours notice.
